Report reveals the effect of pornography on children & ensure your MP attends crucial seminar on the issue

A new study by the Children's Commissioner for England has found a clear link between the amount of pornography viewed by young people and an increase in risky sexual behaviour. Miranda Suit, co-founder of the charity 'Safer Media', offers her advice as to how parents can approach the subject with their children. Listen here to find out more.

How you can get involved

Do you want your local MP to do more to protect children's innocence online? If so please contact your local MP and encourage them to attend a parliamentary presentation which will be given by Dr Gail Dines, Professor of Sociology and Women's Studies at Wheelock College, Boston who has been researching and writing about the porn industry for over twenty years.

The event entitled Growing up in a Porn Culture: Turning Theory into Practice was organised by Claire Perry MP for Devizes and will take place in House of Commons, June 11th. Your local MP will have received an invitation directly from Claire Perry MP inviting them to attend.
